Wieland Office Fit-out HVAC BIM Coordination

Received mechanical Navisworks model from Engineer of Record and created a Revit model of the three level building and roof which included floors, ceilings and structural elements. We then modeled the HVAC sheet metal ductwork and major equipment based on the engineer’s construction drawings with required modifications. From the model, we produced fabrication drawings for the installer showing ductwork locations relative to columns and bottom of ductwork. Development of the fabrication drawings required careful study of the complete plans, specifications, seismic shop drawings, equipment shop drawings and structural openings. Our drawings were used to frame roof and floor openings during construction as well.
