East Moline Correctional Center Admin. Bldg. Chiller Replacement

This building was originally designed as a Site Healthcare facility and included original air handling equipment from 1968. The existing absorption chiller had been replaced ~15 years prior to this project, was fouled and non-functioning. This design included a full HVAC Load analysis based on current usage and determined the size of the new electric chiller including water flow rates and outside air flowrates associated with each of the existing eleven AHU’s. Coils were found to be fouled on several AHU’s and replaced as part of this project. Deliverables included assistance with sizing/procuring an emergency rental chiller, DD and 95% IFA/IFB and 100% IFC Drawings with specifications. My firm performed full CA for this project.
