Project Description:
The facility HVAC systems were primarily original to the building construction (ca. 1964 and 1973). Our firm was asked to develop a complete set of PA/PD drawings reflecting current HVAC zoning, distribution, controls and air handling equipment with recommended upgrades including equipment replacement. The scope included air handling unit and rooftop unit procurement packages. To properly size the new equipment, a complete load study was performed to confirm equipment sizing based on current space usage. The final deliverable included a 30% DD package showing demolition and new equipment with required airflows for each space.
