Sauk Valley Community College HVAC Upgrades

SVCC has been undertaking air handling unit replacement projects over the last several years. This project included replacement of the final five AHU’s and replacement of the main Cooling Tower. The AHU’s included Steam F&B coils and chilled water coils. A laser scan and point cloud were generated to ensure the new equipment would fit inside the existing mechanical rooms. Shut-downs and equipment installation had to be carefully coordinated with the facility. Our deliverables included DD, 50% IFR and 95% IFA/IFB with 100% IFC Drawing sets and specifications. Our firm also provided full CA services for this project including Site Observation Reporting, Punch List Reporting and assisted with Start-up and Cx.
