An existing building was consistently experiencing roof drain overflow problems so our firm performed roof drain calculations based on capture area of the existing roof. Our study included verification of horizontal and vertical storm pipe sizing, proposed roof drain additions and layouts to work with existing operations. We also made recommendations for additional site survey locations to verify site storm water flow to the nearby detention basin.
