Project Description:
This dormitory building has experienced poor climate control in floor 6 through 9 since it was renovated nearly 25 years ago. Our firm was asked to participate in a design study that analyzed the existing HVAC equipment, the chilled water and hot water distribution system serving dormitory room convective fan coil units and existing occupancy/operations. This study included recommendations for exploratory survey with a test and balance company. Ultimately, the University decided not to move forward with the recommendations due to cost.
